Rhonda O'DonnellChief Executive OfficerRhonda was appointed CEO of Freshtel Holdings in July 2007. Prior to joining Freshtel, Rhonda was the Chair of Novell Asia Pacific, a global provider of Linux (open source) technologies and identity management solutions. She was responsible for the management of Novell’s entire Asia Pacific operation encompassing 13 markets with more than 800 employees and an extensive partner network and was a member of Novell’s worldwide management committee which provides strategic planning and direction for the Company’s global operations. During her tenure at Novell Rhonda transformed the Company from a proprietary to an open source model throughout the APAC region, drove revenue growth and was the architect behind Novell’s expansion into China and India. Novell became the leading supplier of Linux in China during the first half of 2005. Rhonda was awarded the Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year in 1999. Under her leadership, (as Managing Director), Global Customer Solutions won Victorian Call Centre of the year in 1999 and Australian Call Centre of the Year in 1999. Rhonda is the Chairman of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board and an active member on a number of other Boards. Rhonda holds a Masters Degree in Innovation and Service Management from RMIT University. |
Ian JacksonChief Operating OfficerIan was appointed Chief Operating Officer in July 2007. Ian has excellent general management skills and experience in operational management, sales leadership and consulting across a range of customer service and technology environments. Before joining Freshtel, Ian was the Market Development Manager at Alinta where he was responsible for driving external construction revenue for both the gas and electricity business. Prior to this Ian spent five years at Novell most recently as Asia Pacific Consulting Director where he led the US$25 million consulting services business across the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand (ANZ) and Japan, and emerging growth areas of Asia West and Asia East. This included management of a team of 100 permanent employees and 150 contractors. Ian also previously held the role of General Manager for Australia, consistently led the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets. Ian holds a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. |
